First, one of our agents will gather all the necessary information for your job. He will provide you with a quote and once you approve our price, he will prepare a contract and email it to you in .pdf format. Sample contract can be viewed here: SAMPLE CONTRACT. Your agent will be there for you to answer any questions before the day of the move. If you're paying with credit card, we will collect a 20% deposit in advance, otherwise payment is due after the move is completed.
Second, you will receive contact information to the driver who will be doing your job. On the day of the move you can contact him at any point to get an update on your job. Upon arrival, the driver will present you with a hard copy of the contract for you to sign. Once you sign it, you will hold onto it until the job is completed. Unless otherwise specified, you are responsible to pack all misc. items into boxes, while movers are responsible to protect your furniture and load it together with the boxes into the truck.
Once all items are unloaded and all furniture unwrapped, the movers will ask you if you need help with anything else. If you're satisfied with the job, please have the signed contract and payment ready. The driver will present you with a receipt upon request, and you can receive a copy of the contract via email or fax.
